Questions for Ms. Goose
Good questions, gladly answered.
Everything families tend to ask before their first Silly Goose experience. If your question is not here, Ms. Goose would love to hear it.
Five experiences, all built on the same heart: Home Adventures (childcare in your home), Vacation Play (hotels, resorts, and Airbnbs), Birthday Play Experiences, Wedding Childcare, and seasonal Pop-Up Play events. Every one is planned around your child's interests, age, and personality.
Private play care means you step out while Ms. Goose or Ms. Swan personally cares for your children: a date night, an evening at the parks, an appointment. A parent-present experience means we bring the curated play world to your gathering or event while a parent or guardian remains nearby. You choose the path when you book, and we confirm the structure with your reply.
Our experiences are designed especially for toddlers and young children ages 2 to 7: story satchels, sensory invitations, tea parties, nature treasures, music, movement, and imaginative play. Infant care is available by request for private family bookings, with gentle, unhurried routines.
Home Adventures begin at $120 for The Little Adventure (2 hours), with 4, 6, and 8 hour experiences at $220, $320, and $420. Vacation Play for hotels and Airbnbs runs $140 to $470 for the same experiences. Wedding Childcare starts at $350 with a custom proposal, and The Play Party for birthdays starts at $275. Every booking is confirmed personally before anything is owed.
Always Ms. Goose or Ms. Swan, the two of us behind the company. We never match families with a random caregiver. Larger groups and events are led by both of us together.
For private play care bookings, yes. After a short onboarding and handoff, parents may step out and enjoy their evening, with photo updates and a visit recap if you would like them. For parties, weddings, and parent-present experiences, the supervision structure is confirmed in advance based on the event, the location, the number of children, and whether guardians remain on site.
Always. Every experience arrives with the Goose Basket: carefully chosen books, heirloom-quality toys, sensory invitations, and creative materials curated for your child. We pack it all in, and we leave the play space tidy before we go.
Ms. Goose holds a degree in Early Childhood Education, is a former preschool teacher with over ten years of early childhood experience, and is CPR certified. Ms. Swan has over 15 years of experience with children, owned and operated a children's birthday party company, and works as a substitute teacher. Play is not a gimmick for us, it is a philosophy we have practiced for years.
Because every experience is led by one of us personally, we welcome a limited number of families each week. A few days of notice is ideal. For hotel stays, weddings, and birthdays, reach out as soon as your dates are set, and we will always do our best with last-minute requests.
Your child's safety always comes first. Groups stay small, larger bookings are led by both of us, and before any private play care visit every family completes a short onboarding that confirms emergency contacts, allergies and sensory sensitivities, routines, and photo preferences. Ms. Goose is CPR certified.
That is perfectly okay. Every child warms up differently, and we always follow a child's comfort level. Some children jump right into play, while others prefer to watch the basket be unpacked first. Building trust is part of every visit.
